Hello Families! Next week, you will receive a letter in the mail with your student’s teacher and other information. Here are some additional Back-to-School reminders and you will find a link to the previous email at the bottom. Looking forward to seeing you at Back-to-School night on Tuesday, August 16 5:30-6:30p!


Important information:

-Families of returning (1st through 5th grade) students should have received an email with a link to register your child for the 2022-23 school year and we are sending email reminders weekly. If you have not received it, please contact us at 217-351-3884 or [email protected] You must register your child online as soon as possible, it is the only system for registration.


-If you have an address change - please notify the office and provide verification. Demonstrate proof of residency with two of the following documents:

Apartment/house lease or home purchase agreement

Mortgage documents/property deed payment record/building permit (60 days occupancy)

Voter's registration card

Current driver's license

Utility bill (current month)


-If you have physical and immunization records, you may turn them  in to your teacher or main office starting August 16 at Back-to-School Night.


-It is really important  that we know how your student will travel home each day, please complete this form for each child as soon as possible:

-It was announced on July 11th at the school board meeting we will be districtwide CEP for school year 22-23. What this means to you is meals (breakfast and lunch) are universally free for all students for this school year.


-Please note Arrival and Dismissal Procedures


Important times:

 Students may enter the building at 7:25a, breakfast is served at this time.

  1. 7:40am First bell, Students arriving before 7:40 will go to their classroom or breakfast.

  2. 7:47am – All students transition to classrooms.

  3. 7:50am Tardy bell, Instruction begins

  4. 2:05pm Dismissal

It is really important that your student is here by 7:30 if they are eating breakfast, otherwise they lose instructional time everyday.
