There are three organizations collaborating to put on Give Kids A Smile this year - Parkland Dental Hygiene School, Champaign-Urbana Public Health District (CUPHD), and Illini District Dental Society (IDDS). We are so excited to be bringing back this great community event to support our young children who may not have a dental home (a dentist that they see regularly) because of the difficulty of accessing dental care. This Saturday, February 11, 2023 from 8AM - 12PM we will be hosting Give Kids A Smile at Parkland Dental Hygiene School, which will provide free dental cleanings and exams for kids from age 0-17. No appointments are necessary, the clinic will see kids on a first come first serve basis. SEE FLYERs ENG SPA FR
We will meet soon to organize class lists for 23-24. Balanced classrooms are composed of diversity in gender, socio-economic status, academic achievement, as well as personalities. Our school team will use information about your student as well as others to support everyone at Robeson. I invite you to provide me with input about your child’s placement as we prepare class assignments for the upcoming school year. In doing so, please observe the following procedure:
Parent input for a specific learning environment (not for a specific teacher) is submitted in writing to the principal no later than March 24th, 2023.
Please send a separate email for each child.
The email should describe the environment in which your student will be successful and why.
Please compose an email addressed to pitcheje@u4sd.org, subject line “Student Environment Request”, followed by your student’s name.
Requests for specific teachers should not be submitted, nor will they be granted.

Thank you families for your interest in Taekwondo club! We were able to enroll 60 students & those families have been contacted. Weekly sessions start Tues., Feb. 21 & runs for 6 weeks. If you would like your child(ren) added to the waitlist, please email Heather Yacko at hkdudley@gmail.com.
